Post Guidelines
Follow These Guidelines to Earn Points from Your Posts
We love that you are sharing your experience with Ecologel products and program with your followers. The guidelines below were designed to help make sure you get credit for all of your great content.
Text / Photo Posts:
- Posts must clearly be referencing Ecologel or an Ecologel product. Just tagging Ecologel or Hydretain without any reference to the education, use or benefits of Ecologel products or programs is not sufficient to earn points.
- Ecologel and/or Hydretain must be tagged in the post where applicable.
- All posts should include #ecologel and any relevant Ecologel brand hashtags, i.e. #hydretain #biopro as well as any appropriate “Bonus Activity” tags.
- If the Brand Ambassador posts the same image on multiple platforms they will receive full points for the initial post, and additional points outlined in the Point Structure section for duplicate content on other platforms.
- If the Brand Ambassador uploads a YouTube video, and then posts on another social platform to promote their video, the post is eligible to receive full points in addition to the video points so long as the post clearly references Ecologel or Ecologel products.
Videos:
- Video must clearly be referencing Ecologel or an Ecologel product
- Ecologel and/or the appropriate Ecologel product brand should appear in the title, description or thumbnail of the video or Ecologel and the appropriate product brand (if applicable) should be tagged in the video during the upload process.
- Videos containing Ecologel and Ecologel products can be categorized as “good”, “better” or “best” with respective points values:
- “Good” (Low Points): videos that contain Ecologel products or brand images in the background or casual mentions of Ecologel or Ecologel products.
- “Better” (Mid Range Points): videos that contain educational information on Ecologel programs or products, showcase product in use, or highlight results from the use of Ecologel products.
- “Best” (Highest Points): Videos that feature Ecologel or Ecologel products as the primary subject matter or as a significant portion of overall video content.
- The categorization of the video is up to the discretion of Ecologel Management.
Instagram Story / Instagram or Facebook Live:
Due to the temporary nature of Instagram Stories and Instagram or Facebook Live a screenshot of the story or copy of the video must be uploaded through the Ambassador portal to provide proof of post or video content.
Post FAQ’s:
A post is any content you created and then uploaded to your platform of choice. Whether that be Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, or TikTok, etc.
Here at Ecologel, we want to take our Brand Ambassadors time into consideration. We understand that posting a video takes up more time than posting on another platform, like Instagram. Videos also typically need to be edited and cut down. For that reason, Videos have a higher point value than traditional social posts.
If the SPECIALTY ACTIVITY content is posted and submitted to Ecologel within the appropriate time frame as indicated on the Special Activity Calendar, you will earn bonus points regardless of when the post gets approved.
